My art process is inspired by the magical realism movement born in Latin America in the late 1900’s, by artists like Fernando Botero, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Jorge L Borges. Matthew Strecher (1999) defines it as “what happens when a highly detailed, realistic setting is invaded by something too strange to believe.”

In the past few years I have taken my work to the streets and walls of Berlin intervening in the public space with a series of photos and self-portraits that once painted create a new reality, something so real but at the same time so unreal that it confuses the viewer.

My art has been part of gallery solo shows and group exhibitions in places like the Berlin street art gallery Urban Spree, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art and the Lomography Gallery in New York, I have also collaborated with local and international street and mural artists.
