“MÁSCARA MORADA” is born from the artist’s need to self-portrait experimenting with different classic and ancient techniques. In this piece the artist mixes Mexican wrestling visuals using the abstract expressionist technique of drip acrylic, oils, water, alcohol and soap over a canvas with spontaneity and no plan in mind. The image is a self-portrait photo of the artist printed in paper. After printing the artist paints the mask and other elements with acrylics, spray paint and oil.
