PROFILE:The work of the Colombian artists Antonio Castello (based in Berlin) is a constant search for new techniques, technologies and creative ideas through visual arts, graffiti, photography and story telling.

Working with photos to tell a story is a strong form of art, but painting on those photos and creating a new reality is stronger. Antonio work take its inspiration from the magical realism movement born in Latin America in the late 1900’s, where a highly detailed, realistic setting is invaded by something too strange to believe.

Antonio studied graphic design in Bogotá before becoming part of the Lomography team as brand ambassador teaching workshops and promoting the brand products; later in 2012 they joined to the Lomo team in New York City curating exhibitions and managing the online sales and content.

In 2016  Mr. Castello found a space for his art studio in Berlin. Since then, his work has been presented in multiple galleries and art festivals while working with major brands and International Companies such as: The Berlinale, Cannes and Venice  Film Festivals, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, BVG, Volkswagen, Conde Nast Group, Johnie Walker and Visa, among others.
