LENA HOSCHEK S/S19
Bananas and Papayas

Last month the Austrian designer Lena Hoschek presented her spring / summer 2019 collection for the first time during Berlin's Fashion Week, the designer is one of my favorites, so I did what I do best, I got me invited to shoot her new collection from Backstage.

Her new collection is particularly colorful and tropical, "Tutti Frutti" as she named it, it's a beautiful variety of dresses and long skirts combined with blouses or crop top loops.

"Fruit markets always attract me magically, the scents, the colors, the flair - for me not only a culinary experience, but also a true feast for the eyes and inspiration with all senses." Told Lena to Vogue Magazine after presenting a full arrangement of fabrics printed with papayas, bananas, oranges, pineapples and apples.

As always Hoschek sticks to her core, the silhouettes of her collection are her well-know feminine and flattering girls that remind you to the women from the 50's and 60's.

Shooting back there among this lovely girls dressed with Caribbean colors made me forget that I was in Berlin, and for a short couple of hours I felt like back home in Colombia. Well done Lena, this collection for sure was my favorite during this year Berlin's spring / summer Fashion Week.
